Bdawg says:
Rocky Patel’s Edge (regular straight round) is one of my favorite go to
cigars. This “square version” is just
ok. The Edge Squared is a very soft
cigar, as if they used less filler. It
smokes well. It just doesn’t have the
heft and feel that I am used to an an Edge cigar. The wrapper is medium brown and nicely
constructed. The draw is easy producing
a dark gray ash. The flavor started as cedar,
hot pepper flakes and light coffee, with a pleasant tang on the finish. Unfortunately the flavor turned very harsh during the last third of the cigar. I am convinced this is becasie of the soft lightly packed fillers. The burn was surprisingly slow and even. Click here to learn more about Rocky Patel cigars.
