Bdawg says: A thick oily beautiful deep brown Maduro wrapper. Recently when I smoked another brand with a Ligero wrapper, the ash was a dark grey, almost black. I asked the question "is a dark grey ash typical of Ligero wrappers?" This cigar answered the question. It produced a nice, long, tight, white ash (twss). That means this wrapper was well fertilized and cured. That explains the flavor of this cigar. Although it is a very strong cigar it is also very well balanced, smooth, complex, earthy, with hints of dark cocoa. The draw was nice and the burn slow and even.
