Bdawg says: This cigar was ranked the #2 cigar of 2011 by Cigar Aficionado. And I would agree with the guys at C.A.... very nice!

Everything about this cigar is beautiful, including the label. The wrapper is dark chocolate in color, slightly oily, and very well constructed.  Upon toasting the head and lighting this beauty up, I knew I was in for something special.  The aroma was exquisite.  The draw, perfect, producing just the right amount of smoke.   The ash was salt and pepper colored and medium tight.  The flavor, smooth, complex, earthy, cedary, ever so slightly sweet, with hints of black coffee and cinnamon.  Smooth all the way to the nub...a real finger burner.  The burn was slow and even.  A perfect cigar.  I only wish there was more of it to enjoy.

I enjoyed this with a New Belgium Brewery 1554 Black Ale.
The perfect match to this fine cigar!
La Aroma de Cuba is part of the Ashton family of cigars.
