Bdawg says: Another new cigar released at the 2012 IPCPR. The Liga LR-1 features a smokable band that is actually a piece of die-cut tobacco leaf patterned in the shape of the La Gloria Cubana logo and glued to the wrapper. The Liga LR-1 comes in lacquered boxes of 26, of which only 500 were produced. And I got my hands on one.
A beautiful reddish-brown, oily, veiny wrapper. The draw is a little tight, but acceptable. The ash is long, tight, and powdery white. The flavor, is smooth, sweet spice and cedar. The burn was slow and even.
