Bdawg says: Per Ashton's website; the VSG is blended exclusively for Ashton using 4 to 5 year old aged Dominican tobacco taken from the finest and most fertile plants. The distinct flavor of VSG comes from its wrapper grown on a private estate in Ecuador. The wrapper leaf is taken from the higher primings and matures slowly by sunlight filtered through the region¹s natural cloud covering.

The cigar is very firm. The wrapper is dark brown, thick, and well constructed. The draw is just slightly tight. As a matter of fact, i had to relight after 1/2 an inch. After the relight, the draw was nice and easy. The ash is powdery white and tight. The flavor is rich, earthy, and mesquite. The burn is slow and even.
