Bdawg says: Anyone who has read this blog knows I am a huge Rocky Patel fan. However; in my opinion the Rocky Patel name has been diluted. Too many brands. Some of them excellent, some, not so much. Do we really need: Mulligans, Edge Squared, Ocean Club, Renaissance, Velvet, etc.? Talk to someone who has only tried these brands, and frankly they probably won't have too high of an opinion. My advise; stick to the core brands listed on Rocky Patel's website. You will be much happier.
Olde World Reserve is one of Rocky's core brands and is quite good.
A dark chocolate brown colored very well constructed wrapper. The draw is easy producing great amounts of billowy smoke and a gray and black ash. The flavor is smooth, dry, espresso, wood and light pepper. The burn however; had a slight problem. I call it "Evil Rabbiting". (See picture below). I touched it up and everything was fine.
