Cigar prices: Prices are high. Even for NY which has a high Sin Tax. (Because of this I have deducted a 1/2 Heart.)
Bdawg says: This is my kind of place! After a long tough day on the road, we were looking for a place to relax and enjoy a cigar. It was getting late, so we grabbed a quick burger and headed over to That's a Great Cigar Shoppe. What a great decision.
We walked into a man's cave of a cigar lounge. The manager and a few regulars were sitting at a poker table, playing their weekly game. They cheerfully greeted us and told us to pick out a few cigars and make ourselves at home. They do not have a bar, so the manager said we could bring in our own diet cokes. We then sat down in the seating area. We enjoyed a couple of good cigars while watching a baseball game on TV. They also had a huge collection of DVD's if we preferred.
We were there for about 3 1/2 hours. The manager let us stick around to finish our cigars until about 10:45 (although they closed at 10). Just an all around good experience. I will definitely make a point to visit them again when I'm in the area.
