Bdawg says: Finally, my dream has come true. A cigar shop and lounge has opened up only about 10 minutes from my house. Actually it opened up a few months ago, but I have been traveling too much to give it a try. Shame on me. I should have made time to visit earlier. This place is a little gem.
The lounge is small, but inviting, with a very nice atmosphere. The sitting area consists of a few leather chairs/sofas; along with a large table. Of course there is a big screen TV. The walk in humidor is certainly not large, but for the size of the humidor, the selection is actually quite nice. They have really put some thought into the brands they are offering. Most sticks are in the $5-$10 range. They do not have an alcohol license, but do serve coffee, sodas, and bottled water.
The owners Todd and Susan are very friendly, welcoming people. They spent a good amount of time visiting with me. These nice folks are genuinely proud owners who care about their customers.
This was a Thursday night and there were about 6-7 regulars in the place. A very nice crowd, knowledgeable and friendly. One regular even handed me 3 of his personal cigars, because he knew I was a blogger and wanted to see how I would rate them. (Thanks buddy)!
Friendly owners, friendly regulars, good selection, and good prices. I will definitely be frequenting Johnny's more often!

Just 4 months after Todd and Susan bought their dream business, the enemies of pleasure shut them down. Government bureaucracy at it's best. The following was posted to Johnny's Facebook page on 3/14/14
It is with heavy heart that we announce the closing of Johnny’s Cigar Lounge. The State of Indiana no longer allows smoking in new businesses. Todd and I have enjoyed our brief 4 months of owning Johnny’s and we appreciate our loyal and faithful customers. We would like to thank each and every one of you for your business.
