Bdawg says: Angel’s Envy Rye is a super-premium whiskey available in small quantities in less than a dozen states. It uses 95% rye and 5% malted barley and is aged for at least six years in in American new charred oak barrels. Then it is finished in hand-selected Caribbean rum casks, which began as small French cognac barrels, for up to 18 months.
This is the best rye whiskey I have ever tried. The color is very light amber. The flavor ultra-smooth, sweet, light rye, honey. Definitely taste the sweet rum. Beautiful!
