Bdawg says:  Back in April I reported that Iconic Leaf would be releasing a new line, Amadeus, at the IPCPR in Vegas on 7/19.  They would also do an early release to select retailers on June 15th.  Today I received a sample via US Postal Service.  And I just had to try it.  Because they have not released this cigar to the public yet, they sent it to me sans label.

Per Iconic Leaf's press release the Amadeus "utilizes a two year fermentation process and 100% Entubar rolling style."  Entubar style involves carefully rolling individual filler leaves into scroll-like tubes and placing them next to each other in the bunch. This allows for good airflow and a clean even burn.  Though it is much more time consuming than other rolling methods, many consider it to be the best method to use in rolling cigars.

The wrapper is light brown and beautifully constructed, gorgeous!  The draw is easy producing a good amount of smoke and a salt and pepper ash.  The flavor is smooth, cocoa, cinnamon, and a hint of cedar on the finish.  The burn was slow and even.

This is a picture of an Amadeus with a label.
