Bdawg says:  This was CA's #22 cigar of 2016.  This cigar uses a stalk cut wrapper.  With stalk cutting, the tobacco plant is cut at the stalk and is hung intact in a curing barn. This allows the leaves to continue to draw nutrients resulting in a fuller, richer flavor.

The wrapper is medium reddish brown, oily and nicely constructed.  The draw is slightly resistant, producing a powdery white ash.  The flavor is dark coffee, leather and charcoal.  The burn is slow and even.
