Bdawg says: This cigar is supple to the touch. The wrapper is veiny, rugged, and weathered looking. A beautiful cocoa powder color. The draw was perfect, just the right amount of resistance and a good amount of smoke. The ash was pure white, tight, and long. The flavor is black coffee, woodsy, dry, and leathery. Flavorful, smooth, and mellow. The burn was medium slow and even. La Aroma de Cuba is part of the Ashton family of cigars.
|I enjoyed this cigar the a New Belgium 1554 Black Ale. |
I rate 1554 as a 4 heart cigar beer. And think it is the perfect
beer to drink with a full flavored cigar.
