Bdawg says: Cult named this cigar Ometepe because the binder and filler -is grown on the volcanic soils of Ometepe - an island in the center of Nicaragua.
The wrapper is light brown, oily, veiny, and well constructed. The draw is easy producing a salt and pepper colored ash. The flavor is unique, spices, red pepper, and leather. The burn is slow and even. Unfortunately the wrapper split about 1/2 way through the smoke, so I had to deduct a half point.
