Bdawg says: Cigar Aficionado rated this as the #10 cigar of 2013.  Per Ashton's website; the VSG is blended exclusively for Ashton using 4 to 5 year old aged Dominican tobacco taken from the finest and most fertile plants. The distinct flavor of VSG comes from its wrapper grown on a private estate in Ecuador. The wrapper leaf is taken from the higher primings and matures slowly by sunlight filtered through the region¹s natural cloud covering.

I smoked the Pegasus version of this cigar.  The draw was so tight I had to relight it a few times, which made the experience unenjoyable.  This cigar on the other hand was almost perfect.

The wrapper is dark chocolate colored and veiny.  The draw was easy producing a good amount of smoke and a white and gray ash.  The flavor is rich, espresso, chocolate, and leather.  The burn is slow and even.
