Cigar Aficianado Rating: 84
Bdawg says: La Flor Dominica's website rates the strength of this cigar as 10 out of 10. And suggests that you "eat before you smoke 'em". The wrapper is a dark brown with a hint of red. It is thick and veiny as a sun grown wrapper should be. The flavor is quite complex, Dark espresso and leather. The draw was perfect. The ash was long but remained very dark. Is that typical of a Ligero wrapper? The burn slow and even. I liked this cigar a lot, but it is certainly not one for a rookie cigar smoker.
Update 5/3/13: I smoked this cigar again almost a year later. I was at the Bu Da Lounge (an Asian themed cigar lounge) in downtown Indy. I enjoyed this fine cigar with a McLachlan 17 year fine oak scotch. My rating is still the same. Very nice
